The Rare Gift of True Friendship
Sometimes, it feels like real friendship is slowly fading in our world today. Many people are around us, but only a few truly walk with us. I wrote this reflection to capture that feeling.
It’s strange how friendship feels so different now.
Most people are just acquaintances—here today, gone tomorrow. They show up, but not in the way that stays with you.
Conversations don’t go deep anymore. You hold back, worried that what you say will be told to others.
The fun times don’t last long either; instead of good memories, you’re often left with lessons you never wanted.
Real friendship—where you can be yourself, where silence feels safe, where someone truly understands—feels rare.
But maybe that’s what makes it special.Because even if there are only a few who really care, they remind us that true friendship isn’t gone.
It still exists—in the ones who listen, who protect your words, and who walk beside you through both joy and pain.
True friendship may be rare, but when we find it, it is worth holding close. 🌸
